Located a couple of miles East of Pima Rd within one of Scottsdale’s most beautiful areas, Troon Country Club anchors the Troon Community which features a variety of home styles and sizes. The golf course opened in 1986 and the community features 1,300 home sites.
The entire golf course went through a $4.6 million renovation during a 7-month period in 2020 after a 7.5 million clubhouse renovation was completed in 2018. Both have continued the tradition to keep the club among the best in the state.
As part of the renovation, golf course architects Tom Weiskopf and Phil Smith made design modifications to enhance playability, accentuate site lines and assist in course maintenance. All greens were resurfaced with A4 Bentgrass, all tees were leveled, expanded and several new forward tees were added while bunkers were modified (a few eliminated), reshaped and rebuilt.
Views are a major component to much of the residential community as the area is surrounded by mountains on three sides and there are a variety of elevated neighborhoods throughout with all being higher than the Phoenix Valley floor. Many homes within the community have also been renovated while others have the potential to allow you to personalize them to your specific taste.
