Located along the Northern Scottsdale border near both Carefree and Cave Creek, Terravita was Del Webb’s first all-age community developed in late 1993 and turned over to the membership in 1998. The master-planned area encompasses 823 acres with extensive Natural Area Open Space. There are more than 1,300 homes within the gated community. The original builder offered 21 different floor plans from 1,385 sq ft to 3,800 sq ft.
Terravita now operates as a private, member owned community. The members, through volunteer Board of Directors, provide strategic direction to our professional management teams. Terravita understands the importance of investing dues monies to maintain and enhance member’s day to day experiences, as well as keeping our amenities modern, current, and relevant.
The beautiful golf course went through a major renovation during the summer of 2022 and will reopen for play in the Fall of 2022. Originally designed by the acclaimed team of Billy Casper and Greg Nash, the club offers both challenging golf and great desert views. As a Troon Privé Club, it also offers a variety of opportunities to tee it up on some of the world’s finest golf courses at discounted rates when members are traveling.
